Delete your FieldSynk account
Last updated 28 September 2026
This page is about FieldSynk, the mobile app published by FieldSynk LLC, and the FieldSynk website at fieldsynk.org. It sets out how to delete your account, how to ask if you cannot get into the app, and exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
1. Delete your account from the app
You can do this yourself, in the app, without asking anyone. It takes about thirty seconds and it happens straight away.
- Open FieldSynk on your phone and sign in.
- Tap "Profile" — the last tab along the bottom.
- Scroll to the bottom of that screen and tap "Delete my account", in red.
- FieldSynk shows you what goes and what stays. Tap Continue if you still want to.
- Tap "Delete it". Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
FieldSynk asks twice on purpose. This cannot be undone: once the account is deleted you cannot sign in again, and only your office can set you up a new one.
2. If you cannot get into the app
Email support@fieldsynk.org with the subject Delete my FieldSynk account and tell us:
- The username or email address you sign in with.
- Your company's name.
We will check it is your account before we delete anything, and we will write back to confirm it is done.
3. What is deleted
Deleting your account removes your login and everything attached to it:
- Your sign-in — your email address or FieldSynk username, and your password. You cannot sign in again.
- Your access to every job and crew, and your role and permissions.
- Your notifications, and anything still waiting to send from your phone.
4. What is kept, and why
Your work records stay with your employer. FieldSynk is a payroll and field-reporting tool: the hours and daily logs in it are the contractor's business records, not your personal account data. A contractor is required by law to keep payroll records, and one person deleting their login cannot erase a crew's timesheet.
- The hours you have filed. They are your employer's payroll record and they are what you were paid on — one person deleting a login cannot erase a crew's timesheet.
- Daily reports, photographs, delays and documents you filed. Same reason: they are the company's record of the job.
- Your place on your employer's roster, which your office manages.
- Your name on days already worked or filed, so nothing the office has signed off changes.
If you want your employer to change or remove one of those records, ask them — it is their record and they control it. We will help them do it, but we cannot change a contractor's payroll records on your say-so.
5. How long the rest is kept
Your login is deleted immediately. We keep a small record that an account existed and was deleted, and invoices we have to keep for tax.
The company's own records stay while the company subscribes. One year after a subscription ends, the whole account and everything in it — records, documents and files — is permanently deleted. We email the company 60 days and 7 days before that happens.
The full detail is in our Privacy Policy. If anything here is unclear, write to support@fieldsynk.org and a person will answer.
